MSW, LCSW

For 17+ years, I’ve been a certified sex addiction therapist trained by the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals.

“It was just porn…until it wasn’t.”

Porn addiction creeps in quietly, then something breaks. A partner finds out. A relationship is threatened.

You're hit with the realization that you’ve lost control of something that was “just getting off.”

Men come to me in a cycle of secrecy, shame, and disconnection. You’re not alone and we can get you back to balance..

Men Come To Me Because They:

  • chase more extreme content to finish

  • said they’s stop- but haven’t

  • feel detached from relationships

  • hide porn use from a partner, or try to repair damage it caused

  • question what porn has really cost

Porn addiction often affects far more than people expect. It rewires a brain's reward system, distorting how you experience intimacy, and leaves patterns of guilt, secrecy, and emotional numbness.

My Porn Addiction Therapy Isn’t “Just Stop Watching It”

Porn Brain +
Why It’s Classically Addictive:

For many men, there is a moment they realize: this isn’t just porn anymore. This is bigger and a problem.

Pornography can trigger an intense spike in dopamine, which over time can:

  • Desensitize your brain’s reward center

  • Impair impulse control

  • Reduce emotional regulation

  • Increase feelings of depression, anxiety, and isolation

  • Make real-life intimacy feel distant or flat

How Porn Addiction Therapy
With Me Works

A person sitting on a bed with white sheets, wearing a white t-shirt, black and white striped socks, and using a silver MacBook laptop.

This isn’t just about restricting access or using more willpower.

Together, we’ll work to understand how porn became a coping mechanism and what needs it's been meeting for you.
We’ll explore early experiences, emotional patterns, and the roots of the addiction, while also building a structured path forward.

After working with me, clients report:

Recovery isn’t about resisting harder or being shamed into quitting. It’s about healing the real wounds that made porn feel necessary in the first place and learning how to build a life that doesn’t need escape to feel tolerable.

  • New hobbies or interests

  • More creative

  • Reconnection with their values and goals

  • A healthier relationship with their mind, body, and spirit

  • Stronger, true emotional intimacy

  • They’re in control again

I’m a certified sex addiction therapist trained through the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals, with over 17 years of experience helping men work through compulsive sexual behavior, infidelity, and porn addiction.

I understand how loneliness, shame, or early experiences of neglect can lead people to rely on pornography to cope. I also know that recovery is possible. I’ve seen men reconnect with themselves, rebuild relationships, and feel more whole than they ever expected.

I’m a big fan of the NY Giants and Yankees, and I try to stay active outside of therapy, whether that’s getting outside, working out, or just taking some time to reset. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and for the first time in my life, I have a puppy who’s two and a half months old. Overall, I try to keep life balanced and grounded.
